You are not going to believe the huge money trail behind the entire cap and trade legislation. If you seriously think it has anything to do with the environment, you are sadly mistaken.
It is all about the dollar…billions of them to be exact.
Just take a look at all of the leftist Democratic loons in the money trail below and you will soon realize one of things that will probably bring down this man’s presidency. If this can be proven, which will be very hard to get concrete evidence, Obama will undoubtedly go down as the most corrupt president/politician in the history of the United States.
This could make Watergate look like a walk in the park…
…and it all deals with money.
A small bank in Chicago called SHOREBANK almost went bankrupt during the recession. The bank made a profit on its foreign micro-loans (see below) but had lost money in sub-prime mortgages in the U.S. It was facing likely closure by federal regulators. However, because the bank’s executives were well connected with members of the Obama administration, a private rescue bailout was arranged. The bank’s employees had donated money to Obama’s Senate campaign. In other words, ShoreBank was too politically connected to be allowed to go under.
ShoreBank survived and invested in many “green” businesses such as solar panel manufacturing. In fact, the bank was mentioned in one of Obama’s speeches during his election campaign because it subjected new business borrowers to eco-litmus tests.
Prior to becoming President, Obama sat on the board of the JOYCE FOUNDATION, a liberal charity. This foundation was originally established by Joyce Kean’s family which had accumulated millions of dollars in the lumber industry. It mostly gave funds to hospitals but after her death in 1972, the foundation was taken over by radical environmentalists and social justice extremists.
This JOYCE FOUNDATION, which is rumored to have assets of 8 billion dollars, has now set up and funded, with a few partners, something called the CHICAGO CLIMATE EXCHANGE, known as CXX. It will be the Exchange (like the Chicago Grain Futures Market for agriculture) where environmental Carbon Credits are traded.
Under Obama’s new bill, businesses in the future will be assessed a tax on how much CO2 they produce (their Carbon Footprint) or in other words how much they add to global warming. If a company produces less CO2 than their allotted measured limit, they earn a Carbon Credit. This Carbon Credit can be traded on the CXX exchange. Another company, which has gone over their CO2 limit, can buy the Credit and “reduce” their footprint and tax liability. It will be like trading shares on Wall Street.
Well, it was the same JOYCE FOUNDATION, along with some other private partners and Wall Street firms that funded the bailout of ShoreBank. The foundation is now one of the major shareholders. The bank has now been designated to be the “banking arm” of the CHICAGO CLIMATE EXCHANGE (CXX). In addition, Goldman Sachs has been contracted to run the investment trading floor of the exchange.
So far so good; now the INTERESTING parts.
One ShoreBank co-founder, named Jan Piercy, was a Wellesley College roommate of Hillary Clinton. Hillary and Bill Clinton have long supported the bank and are small investors.
Another co-founder of Shorebank, named Mary Houghton, was a friend of Obama’s late mother. Obama’s mother worked on foreign MICRO-LOANS for The Ford Foundation. She worked for the foundation with a guy called Geithner. Yes, you guessed it. This man was the father of Tim Geithner, our present Treasury Secretary, who failed to pay all his taxes for two years.
Another founder of ShoreBank was Ronald Grzywinski, a cohort and close friend of Jimmy Carter.
The former ShoreBank Vice Chairman was a man called Bob Nash. He was the deputy campaign manager of Hillary Clinton’s presidential bid. He also sat on the board of the Chicago Law School with Obama and Bill Ayers, the former terrorist. Nash was also a member of Obama’s White House Transition team.
(To jog your memories, Bill Ayers is a Professor at the University of Illinois at Chicago. He founded the Weather Underground, a radical Revolutionary group that bombed buildings in the 60s and 70s. He had no remorse for those who were killed, escaped jail on a technicality, and is still an admitted Marxist).
When Obama sat on the board of the JOYCE FOUNDATION, he “funneled” thousands of charity dollars to a guy named John Ayers, who runs a dubious education fund. Yes, you guessed it. The brother of Bill Ayers, The terrorist.
Howard Stanback is a board member of Shorebank. He is a former board chairman of the Woods Foundation. Obama and Bill Ayers, the terrorist, also sat on the board of the Woods Foundation. Stanback was formerly employed by New Kenwood Inc. a real estate development company co-owned by Tony Rezko.
(You will remember that Tony Rezko was the guy who gave Obama an amazing sweet deal on his new house. Years prior to this, the law firm of Davis, Miner, Barnhill & Galland had represented Rezko’s company and helped him get more than 43 million dollars in government funding. Guess who worked as a lawyer at the firm at the time. Yes, Barack Obama).
Adele Simmons, the Director of ShoreBank, is a close friend of Valerie Jarrett, a White House senior advisor to Obama. Simmons and Jarrett also sit on the board of a dubious Chicago Civic Organization.
Van Jones sits on the board of ShoreBank and is one the marketing directors for “green” projects. He also holds a senior advisor position for black studies at Princeton University You will remember that Mr. Van Jones was appointed by Obama in 2009 to be a Special Advisor for Green Jobs at the White House. He was forced to resign over past political activities, including the fact that he is a Marxist.
Al Gore was one of the smaller partners to originally help fund the CHICAGO CLIMATE EXCHANGE. He also founded a company called Generation Investment Management (GIM) and registered it in London, England. GIM has close links to the UK-based Climate Exchange PLC, a holding company listed on the London Stock Exchange. This company trades Carbon Credits in Europe (just like CXX will do here) and its floor is run by Goldman Sachs.
Along with Gore, the other co-founder of GIM is Hank Paulson, the former U.S. Treasury Secretary and former CEO of Goldman Sachs. His wife, Wendy, graduated from and is presently a Trustee of Wellesley College. Yes, the same college that Hillary Clinton and Jan Piercy, a co-founder of Shorebank attended. (They are all friends).
Interesting? And now the closing…
Because many studies have been exposed as scientific nonsense, people are slowly realizing that man-made global warming is nothing more than a money-generating hoax. As a result, Obama is working feverishly to win the race. He aims to push a Cap-and-Trade Carbon Tax Bill through Congress and into law.
Obama knows he must get this passed before he loses his majority in Congress in the November elections. Apart from Climate Change he will “sell” this bill to the public as generating tax revenue to reduce our debt. But, it will also make it impossible for U.S. companies to compete in world markets and drastically increase unemployment. In addition, energy prices (home utility rates) will sky rocket.
But, here’s the KICKER (THE MONEY TRAIL).
If the bill passes, it is estimated that over 10 TRILLION dollars each year will be traded on the CXX exchange. At a commission rate of only 4 percent, the exchange would earn close to 400 billion dollars to split between its owners, all Obama cronies. At a 2 percent rate, Goldman Sachs would also rake in 200 billion dollars each year.
But don’t forget SHOREBANK. With 10 trillion dollars flowing though its accounts, the bank will earn close to 40 billion dollars in interest each year for its owners (more Obama cronies), without even breaking a sweat.
It is estimated Al Gore alone will probably rake in 15 billion dollars just in the first year. Of course, Obama’s “commissions” will be held in trust for him at the Joyce Foundation. They are estimated to be over 8 billion dollars by the time he leaves office in 2013, if the bill passes this year. Of course, these commissions will continue to be paid for the rest of his life.
Some financial experts think this will be the largest “scam” or “legal heist” in world history.. Obama’s cronies make the Mafia look like rank amateurs. They will make Bernie Madoff’s fraud look like penny ante stuff.”
The NFL’s political action committee donated $10,000 to Harry Reid this election cycle.
CNS News reported, via Free Republic:
The National Football League’s political action committee—Gridiron PAC—has weighed in on the hotly contested U.S. Senate election in Nevada that pits conservative Republican challenger Sharron Angle against Senate Democratic Leader Harry Reid.
The PAC has given $10,000 to Reid—the maximum it can give in a single election cycle—and no money to Angle, according to Federal Election Commission data compiled by OpenSecrets.org.
The NFL’s PAC also contributed to other incumbent Democratic senators facing viable challengers this year, giving $5,000 to Blanche Lincoln of Arkansas; $5,000 to Russ Feingold of Wisconsin; $5,000 to Barbara Boxer of California; $5,000 to Michael Bennet of Colorado; and $5,000 to Patty Murray of Washington.
In none of these races did the NFL’s PAC contribute to the Republican challenger.
How can any group or committee who represents individuals who try to negotiate the largest amount of money they can get for a contract with the least amount of regulations? If an NFL player does not believe in the free market, then they obviously have clue about what their advisors do for them. If I was an NFL player, I would be utterly pissed off at the NFL PAC for giving money to these socialist loons.
and vomiting blood. He later died at King’s Mill Hospital in Nottinghamshire, central England, the Nottingham Post reported.
The court heard that Bedford ignored the product’s recommendation to take no more than one sixteenth of a teaspoon and instead took two spoonfuls of the powder — ingesting a level of caffeine 70 times more than is usually found in a high-energy drink.
Speaking outside the court, Bedford’s aunt Sue Burton said, “I think there should be a warning on it saying it can kill.”
Nottingham Coroner Dr. Nigel Chapman said, “Caffeine is so freely available on the internet for £3.29, but it’s so lethal if taken in the wrong dose, and here we see the consequence. So many people are upset and distraught by the death of Michael.”
He also criticized the product, which was not named in the inquest, for recommending such a small dosage, which could be easily ignored. “Who would take [one sixteenth of a teaspoon]? It’s such a small dosage — the warning is so small on the front of it,” Chapman said. “If you’re sharing a bag, carrying it around, and if you hadn’t seen the warning — it could be that anyone at the party could have taken it. It’s so dangerous to take something like this.”
He recorded a verdict of accidental death.
When State Department spokesman P.J. Crowley tweeted a sardonic birthday wish to Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on Thursday, he likely assumed it would be interpreted for the substance of its intent: a wish that for his birthday, Ahmadinejad would release imprisoned American hikers Josh Fattal and Shane Bauer.
According to her most recent tweets, however, former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin (R) didn’t catch the drift.
On Friday, she took to Twitter to blast the Obama administration for “kowtowing” and “coddling” enemies.
“Happy B’day Ahmadinejad wish sent by US Govt. Mind boggling foreign policy … Obama Doctrine is nonsense,” she tweeted, adding that the birthday greeting after Ahmadinejad’s “call 4 Israel’s destruction” speaks “volumes.”
Crowley’s original tweets had read:
Happy birthday President #Ahmadinejad. Celebrate by sending Josh Fattal and Shane Bauer home. What a gift that would be.
Your 54th year was full of lost opportunities. Hope in your 55th year you will open #Iran to a different relationship with the world.
So far, there’s been no response from him on Twitter.
At least no one can say that the Democrat agenda is incoherent. Every major policy pursued by our current government shares a central objective: to drive up unemployment, thereby increasing the public’s reliance on socialist bureaucrats who will “spread the wealth around.” Until they get Cap & Tax through, ObamaCare is the crown jewel in this regard. According to a congressional report:
The CBO estimates that the legislation, on net, will reduce the amount of labor used in the economy by a small amount — roughly half a percent — primarily by reducing the amount of labor that workers choose to supply, which is more than 788,470 employees.
That’s almost 800,000 more families herded into the Democrat camp — according to theory, anyway. The strategy worked like a charm for FDR, keeping him in power for ages. Unfortunately for Dems, the public has more access to information than it did in the 30s and 40s. This time, we know what’s being done to us.

In a somewhat shocking turn of events Bill Clinton, who is considered the first “black” president due to his policies and love from the African-American community, has been trying unsuccessfully to get the African-American candidate Kendrick Meek to exit the Florida Senate race so that Republican turned “Independent” Charlie Crist has a better chance of winning the seat.
Bill Clinton sought to persuade Rep. Kendrick Meek to drop out of the race for Senate during a trip to Florida last week — and nearly succeeded.
Meek agreed — twice — to drop out and endorse Gov. Charlie Crist’s independent bid in a last-ditch effort to stop Marco Rubio, the Republican nominee who stands on the cusp of national stardom.
Meek, a staunch Clinton ally from Miami, has failed to broaden his appeal around the state and is mired in third place in most public polls, with a survey today showing him with just 15 percent of the vote. His withdrawal, polls suggest, would throw core Democratic voters to the moderate governor, rocking a complicated three-way contest and likely throwing the election to Crist.
The former president’s top aide, Doug Band, initially served as the intermediary between Meek and Crist, and Clinton became involved only when Meek signaled that he would seriously consider the option, Clinton spokesman Matt McKenna confirmed to POLITICO.
“The argument was: ‘You can be a hero here. You can stop him, you can change this race in one swoop,’” said another Democrat familiar with the conversations, who said Clinton had bluntly told Meek that he couldn’t win the race.
Crist also confirmed the planned scenario Thursday night, telling MSNBC’s Keith Olbermann: “I had numerous phone calls with people very close to President Clinton.”
And Clinton himself described the conversations in an interview with CNN.
“He was trying to determine what was the best thing for him to do,” Clinton said, adding that Meek was simply too short on cash to break through. “I knew it was being discussed, people had discussed it on and off… it was no secret.”
“He was trying to think about what was the best thing for Florida,” Clinton said.
In a press conference, Meek issued a calibrated denial, taking issue with the statements by Crist and Clinton’s spokesman.
“Any rumor or any statement from anyone that says I made a decision to get out of the race is inaccurate at best,” Meek said. “There was never a deal.”
Meek conceded that Clinton had asked him about reports that he was going to drop out, but suggested that he’d quickly ended the conversation, and he stressed that he had never actually decided to drop out.
Clinton did not dangle a job in front of Meek, who gave up a safe House seat to run for the Senate, but instead made the case that the move would advance the congressman’s future prospects, said a third Democrat familiar with the conversations.
Clinton campaigned with Meek in Florida on Oct. 19 and 20, and thought he had won Meek over. But as the week wore on, Meek lost his enthusiasm for the arrangement, spurred in part, a third Democratic source said, by his wife’s belief that he could still win the race. Clinton spoke with Meek again at week’s end, three Democrats said, and again Meek said he would drop out.
“It was a completely done deal,” one source said.
The Crist, Meek and Clinton camps even set a date for an endorsement rally: the following Tuesday, Oct. 26. Meek was to give Crist his blessing and explain to his disappointed supporters — many of whom deeply distrust the governor, who was elected as a Republican — that their votes could save the Senate for the Democrats and save America from the rise of Rubio, who is viewed both as a hard-line conservative and a potential national figure.
The White House, Democrats said, had knowledge of the plans and viewed them as a path to capturing the Senate seat, but did not initiate the talks.
Last weekend, however, Meek changed his mind.
“Not being seen as a quitter was more important than stopping someone who was so opposed to what you and your party had stood for,” said one Democrat who had been hoping to close the deal.
In an appearance on CNN Thursday night, Meek specifically denied that any joint rally had been planned. Going even farther than his boss, Meek campaign manager Abe Dyk vehemently denied the entire sequence of events described by Clinton’s aide and other Democrats.
“Kendrick Meek was not ever dropping out of this race and will not ever drop out of this race,” Dyk said. “He’s going to stand up for the middle class as opposed to his two lifelong Republican opponents who always stand with the special interests.”
White House officials did not respond immediately to questions about the plans. But in an appearance on Fox News, Crist said he had discussions with “several people” at the White House subsequent to the implosion of the Clinton-Meek scheme. “There were several people that I spoke with,” Crist said, declining to give specifics.
“Our only focus is on uniting common-sense Democrats, independents and Republicans behind Charlie Crist because he’s the only candidate who can defeat tea party extremist Marco Rubio,” Crist spokesman Danny Kanner said.
Rubio and his allies jumped on the news.
“Charlie Crist truly will say and do anything to get elected and hold on to power. Secret deals to trade away principles for power is already the problem in Washington, it’s not the solution,” said a top Rubio aide, Todd Harris.
Harris noted that no recent public polling has shown Crist beating Rubio in a two-man race, but also released internal polling data aimed at keeping Meek’s hope alive: “As of yesterday, in our internal tracking showed Crist and Meek in a statistical dead heat. Among those who have already voted, our internal polling actually shows Meek beating Crist 28% to 24%.”
But with Meek widely viewed as dead in the water, the real danger to Democrats in Florida may be that the news of Clinton’s gambit will discourage black voters from participating in the election at all, a danger to gubernatorial candidate Alex Sink, locked in a tight race with health care executive Rick Scott.
And Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Steele poked directly at that Democratic vulnerability in a statement Thursday evening.
“President Clinton’s actions to have Kendrick Meek withdraw from the campaign sends a chilling signal to all voters, but especially African Americans,” Steele. “One can only imagine the response if Republican leadership tried to force out of the race – in the 11th hour – a qualified black candidate like Kendrick Meek.”
The Democratic National Committee formally has asked the Pentagon for reams of correspondence between military agencies and nine potential Republican presidential candidates, a clear indication that Democrats are building opposition-research files on specific 2012 contenders even before the midterm elections.
An internal Army e-mail obtained by ABC News indicates that the DNC has filed Freedom of Information Act requests for “any and all records of communication” between Army departments and agencies and each of the nine Republicans — all of whom are widely mentioned as possible challengers to President Obama.
The agencies are asked to respond to the request by this Friday, just four days before Election Day.
The nine Republicans that Democrats are seeking information on are former Gov. Sarah Palin, R-Alaska; former Gov. Mitt Romney, R-Mass.; Gov. Haley Barbour, R-Miss.; Gov. Tim Pawlenty, R-Minn.; former Gov. Mike Huckabee, R-Ark.; former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, R-Ga.; Sen. John Thune, R-S.D.; Gov. Mitch Daniels, R-Ind.; Gov. Bobby Jindal, R-La.
Such requests are typical in the world of opposition research, which involves casting a broad net for publicly available material that may at some point prove embarrassing or incriminating to political candidates.
The request isn’t for details of military service or lack thereof, but appears to be designed to find information on letters and memos sent to and from the potential candidates in official positions they’ve held.
DNC officials declined to comment, but did not dispute that the information has been requested. An Army spokesman confirmed that the DNC’s formal request for information has been received.
“We did receive a FOIA request, and now we are responding to that FOIA request,” said the spokesman, Col. Tom Collins.
The DNC’s request is intriguing for its timing as well as for the singling out of nine particular Republicans who are expected to vie for the GOP presidential nomination.
In addition, the FOIA request provides a window into how deeply into potential candidates’ pasts opposition researchers are looking, even at this early stage.
The request for information on Gingrich stretches back to 1979, when he was a freshman member of the House. The DNC is asking for information related to Palin’s service on the Wasilla, Alaska, City Council in the early 1990s, while the Pawlenty request includes his service on the Planning Commission in Eagan, Minn., in 1988 and 1989.
The requests for Daniels and Thune specifically reference their time as staff members for U.S. senators. Democrats are trying to learn more about Jindal’s career going back to 1996, when he was secretary of the Louisiana Department of Health and Human Services.
According to the memo, the DNC’s request asks for “Any and all records of communication (including but not limited to letters, written requests, reports, telephone records, electronic communication, complaints, investigations, violation and memos) between your department (and all divisions and agencies under your jurisdiction).”
The DNC also asks for copies of other Freedom of Information requests that mention the nine individuals that Democrats want information on.
